Softball Pitching Machine?
Ok so my birthday is coming up and i want to get a softball pitching machine. I mean the actual sport softball and not just softball as in soft balls for little kids. I want a good one that is able to pitch fast because in the spring ill be playing on my high school team and since i wasn’t able to play last year i lost some of my skills. So i need to use it to work on my hitting skills… obviously, but i also will need to use it to work on catching (im a catcher) thanks. I just checked and i cant believe they dont have a softball category that this will be put in baseball i hate when people think there the same!!!!

Heres a website that i think will help. i really like the ATEC/Wilson Hitting Streak Pitching Machine. We have that on our team and it is great. You have to have a person to load it though and pitch to you but it works well. And i totally agree!! how can people think that softball and baseball are the same!

heyy .. i agree about the softball category thing .. lolz .. and i dont think taht you need to buy a pitching machine .. if you want to work on batting go to the cages .. its cheaper than buying a whole machine .. i mean what if you dont need the machine afterwards .. what are you gonna do with it .. and for catching .. its better if you have someone throw to you because then you get the real feel for the ball .. have people throw balls short and in the dirt .. off to the side and high so that you can work all the areas .. a pitching machine really isnt gonna be able to help you with all that .. if you really want a pitching machine .. jugs sells the best ones
there are softball pitching macines they are good but the real deal is better ask some of you old friends to help and play scrub ball be sure to include a good pitcher as this is the best way to practice.
look at the company Jugs….all my baseball machines were by them in HS and they all worked good, and our softball team had them as well
I hate it too, they’re so different. Anyway, if you can’t get a pitching machine then try asking your parents to take you to the batting cages to work on your hitting, to work on your catching try finding a friend from your team that pitches and you can work on your skills together, most pitchers are cool with that because they get the practice too, and it helps you get used to moving around after the ball, because they are not all going to be perfect you know. So good luck, and have fun. ( i play pitcher )
