Didn’t you ask this already? I think I answered too..
piece of advice im now 27 and i have been playing my whole life practice everyday! there are fundamental skills needed and routine plays…you need to know those first and you have to master them. make sure you stretch. Always know where you are going with the ball if it is hit to you. it’s better to split the runners then to let them advance and what i mean by that is if you have a runner at second and your in the outfield and you get the ball. make sure you ALWAYS hit the cutoff and/or get it to 2nd base so the runner batting doesn’t advance. also like anything else you only get better with practice. so practice practice practice! it’s a great game btw whenever you hit open your hips, extend your arms and snap the wrist keep your head on the ball and your back foot planted! but always know where you are going with the ball before its hit! and catch with two hands… um if you need anymore advice email me! good luck!
Good luck. I play softball and you have to practice, practice, practice. Go over the plays and basics until you get it and you will become better. Trust me; you’ll do good.
it depends how much you practice and work at it. the more you practice and work at it and the harder you try the quicker you’ll get better.
