Homemade pitching machine?

anyone know of a way how to make a homemade pitching machine out of any thing(like bungee cords string etc. anything). It doesn’t have to go that fast. Just it has to work. And also it would be better if it would be self propelled so you don’t have to have some one control for you.

no i dont , not realisticaly… however take this piece of advise: practice hitting off a batting "t", practice swinging in fron of a mirror or looking at you shadow. practice taking a s l o w swing and then "wipping" your bat right back into the starting possition.
i’ve been a player , coach , and student of the game since 1956. i have dozens of tapes and books teaching how to hit a baseball.. 99% of what they teach is having a good swing… and nothing ,NOTHING can help you more with your swinging mechanics than practicing off a "T", the other exercizes i explained will help you gain bat speed. another 2 things you can do is look at still and movie pictures off good swings… take out your old baseball cards.. get an instuctional tape… the next thing will help you with hand eye co-ordination and reflexes…get yourself a "speed [punching ]bag" i swear!!! work out on it for 10 min before you go to your game. another, tie 1 end of a strong 15ft leangth of "ruber band" to a ruber ball the other end the a heavy block and get a ping pong paddel and paddel the ball.work out with this 10 min before you leave for the game… you can try useing a small paddel ball also… get a little bp befoe each game try and get someone to throw bp after the game… and YOU WILL BECOME A MUCH BETTER HITTER… if you are old enough to work out with weights , work on your forarms, tricepts and wrists… and legs… stay awy from bulking up your bicepts and chest… stay away from drugs… especialy alcohol… and if you want to be a real asset to ANY team , work on you deffence.

I have seen a few over the years that varied in quality. The worst was made with surgical tubing and the best was made with 2 electrical motors from evaporative coolers with variable switches. What helped the accuracy was having inflatable tires on wheels attached to the the motors.
