I need help for baseball season. I’m 15, play basketball and baseball, and am 6’1, but I only weigh about 140 lbs. I really, REALLY need to gain more muscle and body weight to play high school baseball, but it’s hard because even when I work out, I don’t gain muscle. I know it takes time, but I’ve been trying for awhile and haven’t gain any muscle. Anyone have any tips on how to gain muscle and weight quick. I play Babe Ruth baseball, and my coach like to start about a month before all the other teams, so that adds more pressure to gain quick. Steriods have crossed my mind, but I have no idea where I, a 15 year old, could get them, and would be a little nervous if the baseball team tested, but if it was a last resort then I’d think it over. Any workout methods would be appreciated.

*sorry to my contacts for the repeat question just trying o get more answers.
I am buying these trophy’s for my son’s baseball coaches, even though I don’t normally do coaches gifts I really like his coaches this year. It’s a cool little trophy of a baseball mitt and I can have whatever personalized on the stand part of it and then it holds a baseball (sold separately) which I will have the whole team sign. This will pretty much be a team gift even though I bought it and am organizing it.
My question is, as I go around to parents of the team and ask if they would like pitch in (it would be .00 per child playing) do I also ask the coaches wives to pitch in so it’s from their own child too since they are part of the team and will sign the ball as well or is that tacky since it’s going to their husband? If I shouldn’t ask them then that will raise the cost to . for everyone else.
Also when I have the kids sign the ball which is a regular size baseball, should I have them sign just their first name or first and last? I want to make sure I will fit all the names and there are 13 kids. what do you think? What should they sign with just a thin tip permanent marker right? Sorry if I sound like an idiot but I just want to make it nice.
Thanks
misslabeled: they have different coaches every year.
I’m not trying to recruit people to help make me look good that’s ridiculous, if I wanbted to look good I’d make the gift JUST from us! I can afford to pay for the gift myself, I thought it would be nice if it were from the whole team! Parents have the option to NOT chip in to help if they do not like the coach however I will still have ech child sign the ball if they wish to.
well I’m still having everyone sign. No one will know who paid and who didn’t so that’s not a problem and I will just pay the difference for whoever doesn’t pitch in. All the kids names should really be on the ball, I’m not going to punish a child because their parent didn’t want to or couldn’t pitch in.

Alright, so I have watched baseball religiously for the past 10 years. I have attended many softball games during my high school years, and now go watch my sister’s middle school softball team during games. Well I see a lot of mistakes made, but they are basic, fundamental errors. The head coach knows me as I have told her on occasion things I see the girls could work on.
Well today she asked me to be the head coach for her tomorrow because she will not be in town the rest of the week (family problems). So enter me, a 21 year old guy who is leaving for the Air Force soon, who loves baseball/softball. What would be some coaching tips for me? I have never coached anything formal, but when I play with friends and family in the neighborhood up at the fields, I always have certain strategies I like to play. I would ask the assistant coach for advise, but from the first few games they have played, it is obvious she is just out there because the team "needed" an assistant coach.
So yeah, I ask, what tips/advice could you give me to ensure a smooth, nice day of coaching tomorrow during her game? I know some of the girls, so I feel like I will at least be able to speak with them without them being like "who the hell is this guy?" I don’t wanna just stand there with my lips sealed. Should I just encourage them, above all else, and let them know of the mistakes they are making? Thanks.

I don’t know any of the wives very well. I am tempted just to make this a gift from our own family but with having all the kids sign that seems odd so it should be from the team. There are 4 coaches and one of the, has two kids on the team so that would be minus 5 kids to contribute adding . total to the cost for others making it . for everyone if I don’t ask coaches wives. Is that too much to ask? That would be for 4 gifts (one for each coach) so . to pay toward 4 gifts doesn’t seem bad I guess.
going to be hard to get coaches kids to sign without either coach or their mom around.
